As part of a new customer introduction, HBC Engineering Solutions have invested in a new Moulding machine - The Engel VC750/150 Power. This machine
was chosen because of key criteria, including:

• Four hydraulic core pullers which are independent, and sequential.
• Tie-bar less technology, which enables us to optimise tool sizes.
• 750 x 750 platten
• Extended guarding to accommodate tools and accessories up-to 1.2mtrs wide

To ensure this investment is fully optimised we have installed our Production monitoring system (Intouch). This will enable optimisation of cycle time
(60 second) as well as run time, stop codes and any down-time analysis.

This is now the second machine HBC have purchased from Engel, the first machine was a 25 Ton Tie-bar less machine purchased in 2004. This machine
is primarily used for the introduction of new customer projects, and the development of existing tooling.

Both machines are "easy" to operate and highly flexible in terms of setting parameters and tooling range.
