| Ultrasonic welding joins plastics by rapidly transmitting ultrasonic energy through a shaped tool or "horn". This ultrasonic energy, in the form of mechanical vibrations, creates friction between the two plastic parts, which, in turn generates heat to melt and permanently fuse the two parts with one another. This technique is fast, efficient, reliable and is offered as an in-house service.
